Our aim is to create a learning environment which will give your child maximum opportunities to gain aquatic skills. To fully master these skills, continuity is an important factor. Whilst we understand there are many and varied reasons for missing a lesson, unlike many other term-based activities we offer you the opportunity to make up the lesson missed as long as you meet our cancellation guidelines and providing there are places available in our regular classes for make up lessons.
What is a make up lesson?
A Make up lesson is a substitute class for a cancelled lesson you were unable to attend.
These lessons are at a different time and day from your regular class and possibly with a different teacher. Your child takes the place of a child who has cancelled for that lesson or a place in a class where a vacancy exists
Make up lessons are offered as a courtesy and a privilege.
You must have a current term lesson card to use make up lessons from a previous term
Make up lessons are not a continuation of your lesson card.
They are non-refundable and only available where cancellations have been received or where vacancies occur. Credits are not given if you are unable to attend make up lessons.
Make up lessons apply only if you notify your inability to attend and cancel the regular class by 1pm on the day of your lesson. Notification during class time is too late.
The system & how it works.
We are dependent on your cooperation to enable us to provide this system.
To enable this system to work it is important that lessons be cancelled as soon as you are aware you are unable to attend your regular lesson and at the latest before 1pm week days or on Saturday at least 1 ½ hours prior to lesson time. This in turn allows time for others to book make up lessons.
Lessons not cancelled prior to lesson time will be forfeited except in extreme circumstances.
Notification during your class time is too late, the lesson will be forfeited and no make up lesson will apply. Make up lessons booked will also be forfeited if not cancelled prior to lesson time.
There is no time limit to use these lessons however you must have a current term lesson card to use make up lessons from a previous term.
No credit is given if you are unable to attend make up lessons.

Booked Make up lessons must be cancelled prior to the commencement of the lesson if you are unable to attend. These lessons will be forfeited if you fail to notify your inability to attend. There are no refunds for non-attendance.

Make up lessons can be arranged by approaching our reception staff during class times or by phone. We will endeavor to arrange a suitable class for you.
